CLUB ACTIVITIES

The event Tech Hustle was hosted on 21/11/2022. It was a TECH event where the participants had to showcase their knowledge in various technical which included aptitude, coding and logical questions and tech trivia.
The event was conducted in 2 rounds namely Tech-pardy and Earn it to Ace it. There were totally 170 participants in the event.
The students were required to participate in this event as a team of four.
For the first round, each team got to decide the domain of the question which they wish to answer , they were also allowed to choose the difficulty of the question based on the points and higher the points awarded for the question the more difficult it was.
Any passed question got its points were halved and there was a buzzer round where we asked each team to raise hands and the earliest one gets to answer the passed question.

11 teams from the first round got qualified to the second round from a total of 40 teams.
And for the second round, it was a surprise technical treasure hunt in which each team was given 4 clues and could solve the clue cards in any order of preference. The team with highest points in the first round got the added advantage of extra clue cards. After solving the clue, each clue lead to one of the treasure hunt spots in and around the CSE DEPARTMENT where our members and volunteerss gave them a fun task to solve a simple code to solve in order to proceed forward. Once completed , the teams got access to the final technical problem which was the rhombus pattern of odd number of astrix characters.
The first three teams to earn 5 points and solve the final problem were declared as the winners.

The event went smooth and there was an environment of competition. The event was well organized, interactive and all the participants really enjoyed their time, learnt how to work and solve problems under pressure and the need to be updated with the vast world of advancing technologies out there.
