Workshop on Industrial IoT

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized one day workshop on “Industrial IoT “on 18/04/2023. The IIoT encompasses industrial applications, including robotics, medical devices, and software-defined production processes. The IIoT goes beyond the normal consumer devices and internetworking of physical devices usually associated with the IoT. IoT coupled with computer automation controls helps streamline industrial systems and improve data automation, with the aim of removing errors and inefficiencies, primarily from the people. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is the use of smart sensors and actuators to enhance manufacturing and industrial processes. The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Rajesh Kannan, Founder-Director, PPS-Organization. The entire workshop will focus on important aspects of Industrial IoT. Around 40 participants took part and benefitted from the workshop.
