- Spandana has been accepted as an exchange student (Programme CMQ (Campus des Metiers et des Qualifications) 2E Energie et Efficacite Energetique)). She will attend Master CS at the University of Rouen Normandy from 13th September 2018 to 2nd December 2018.
- Anmol George of 7th semester has been accepted as an exchange student as a part of the cooperation convention between Universite Le Havre Normandie and NHCE. He will attend 1st year Master degree Computer Science in UFR Science and Technology from 13th September 2018 to 10th December
- Sanketh S Huddar and Vishwa Gopalakrishna successfully completed their internship on PCB design for food computer and concrete 3D printer from 4thJune to 19th July 2018 at Imagineering Lab/4i Laboratory in IIT-Kanpur.
- Sanketh S and Vinayaka Sandilya of 4thsemester won 3rd Prize at the 36 hours Hackathon for predictive analysis and machine learning Conducted by SAP and TCS at New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE).
- Vinayaka Sandilya and Shafiul Bashar of 4thsemester and his team “The Mechanists” won the Best Innovative Idea award under the domain “Energy” in Karnataka Smart Village Hackathon conducted by IBM and the Indian Technology Congress Association at New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE).
