Alumni Talk on How To Plan and Qualify for Higher Studies

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in collaboration with the Alumni Association, organized an Alumni Talk on November 7, 2024. The guest speaker for the session was Mr. Pratyush Burman, a 2024 graduate who achieved an impressive IELTS score of 8.5.

Mr. Burman shared valuable insights on the importance of planning and qualifying for higher studies, emphasizing how it enhances professional capabilities and career prospects. He covered key topics such as methods to improve technical skills and techniques for adopting a holistic engineering approach, enabling students to excel in international academic settings and pursue higher studies with confidence.

The session, attended by over 180 fifth-semester students from the CSE department, featured interactive discussions with the speaker in an online format. This engagement not only boosted students’ confidence but also fostered a sense of mentorship and support. The event highlighted the significance of continuous learning and professional development, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.
