Guest Talk on Steps to Build a Future in Generative AI

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship and Development Cell (EDC), hosted a guest talk for the 4th-semester students on April 15th, 2025. Mr. Deepak Chawla, founder of HiDevs, shared insights on “Steps to Build a Future in Generative AI.” With over a decade in AI and ML, he discussed his entrepreneurial journey and the evolution of software development. HiDevs aims to build the world’s largest Generative AI workforce, focusing on innovation and community growth.

Mr. Chawla highlighted his role as a mentor, having trained over 5000 individuals in AI at no cost. Students were inspired by his AI clone, “EchoDeepak,” which has answered over 10,000 queries. He emphasized democratizing AI Education and fostering technological entrepreneurship. The session provided practical knowledge, career guidance, and motivation for AI-driven ventures.
Students engaged in a one-on-one interaction with “EchoDeepak,” finding the experience fascinating. Overall, the talk encouraged students to explore AI and pursue innovation in technology and entrepreneurship.
