CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
5th Semester Mini Project Competition
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in collaboration with the Computer Society of India (CSI) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a one-day Mini Project Competition on 28 November 2025 for 5th-semester students. The event aimed to encourage innovation, practical problem-solving, and the application of coding skills in real-world scenarios.
A total of 48 students were shortlisted, out of which 39 students presented their mini projects, demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm, creativity, and technical proficiency. The projects were evaluated by an expert jury comprising Mr. Kuwar Saurya Keshav, Lead – Technical Manager at Urban Piper Technology Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Rakshith M. P., Associate QAE at DE Shaw India Pvt. Ltd., whose industry experience and insightful feedback significantly enriched the learning experience.
The competition highlighted the importance of coding and emerging technologies, particularly Python, as a powerful tool for innovation in today’s digital landscape. The outstanding performances of the prize winners—Suhani Pandita & Shreya Deshpande (1st Prize), Kamutala Abhinav & Jeeth Sarkar (2nd Prize), and KV Sai Kalyan & Darshil Sisodiya (3rd Prize)—set a high benchmark for future competitions and reinforced the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and skill development.
