Microsoft Certified Training Sessions on GitHub Copilot and Azure AI
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised Microsoft Certified Training Sessions on GitHub Copilot and Azure AI on 5th and 6th March 2026. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Pramod Sunagar, a highly experienced Microsoft Certified Trainer with over 14 years of expertise in training and consulting. The training aimed to strengthen students’ technical competencies in modern development tools and AI-based cloud technologies.
On the first day, the GitHub Copilot session introduced students to AI-assisted coding and techniques to enhance development efficiency. The second day focused on AI-900, providing foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI services and certification-oriented skills. Dr. Pramod shared insights from his extensive experience in DevOps, AI, cloud, and machine learning. He also highlighted his work with global organisations and contributions to GitHub Copilot hackathons. His diverse industry certifications reflected his strong technical foundation and commitment to continuous learning.
Students gained practical exposure to real-world workflows and emerging technologies. The sessions effectively bridged academic learning with industry expectations. Overall, the training programme was highly impactful and enriched students’ readiness for modern technology roles.
