Angel Investment and Venture Capital Funding Opportunities

The NHCE Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organised an insightful session on “Angel Investment and Venture Capital Funding Opportunities” on 17 July 2026.

The programme was designed to create awareness among students, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs about the various funding avenues available for startups and emerging business ventures. The session highlighted the role of angel investors and venture capitalists in supporting innovative ideas and scaling entrepreneurial initiatives. Participants gained valuable knowledge about the startup funding ecosystem, investment stages, fundraising processes, and investor expectations.

The speakers emphasised the importance of creating strong business models, validating market opportunities, and developing compelling value propositions to attract potential investors. Students were introduced to effective pitching techniques and strategies for presenting business ideas to investors with confidence.

The programme also provided insights into investment evaluation criteria, risk assessment, and funding negotiations.
