Alumni Talk On -“IMPORTANCE OF LINUX IN INDUSRTY”

Department of CSE in association with CSI Student chapter organized “ALUMNI TALK” on 11th November 2022 from 02:00PM to 3:00 PM. The invited alumni speaker for the event was Mr Tosh Bir Singh, graduate of 2020 batch. He is currently working as Senior Software Engineer at Visit Health Pvt Ltd. The title of the event was “IMPORTANCE OF LINUX IN INDUSRTY”. He addressed the 3rd semester CSE students. He spoke about the usage of Linux in industries, how to install it into the system, the benefits of having Linux as the OS and the career prospects of being skilled in Linux programming. Alumni also motivated the students giving an insight on how to prepare of the academics as well as the skills that they must develop for the placements. The session was very interactive, and students wanted to know more on cracking the best opportunity given to them. More than 100 2nd year students of CSE department have attended and benefited from this event.
