CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

New Horizon College of Engineering in association with American Express organized the finale of the month-long Hackathon on 10 August 2019. The four themes of the Hackathon were:

-Open Innovation
-Security and Fraud Detection
-Scalable and Resilient distributed systems.
-Payments

There were around 500 final participants from all over India out of 4000 total entries. The events that were conducted as follows:

● Hackathon (Opened only to final/pre-final students) – Online+Offline rounds
● Other events that were conducted during offline tech-fest (Open to students across all graduation years)
-Quizzes
-Live Coding Challenge
-Panel Discussions
-Tech Booths

The winners were awarded prizes worth Rs. 2,10,000. New Horizon College of Engineering outshone with 2 students amongst the top 5 participants in the coding competition, and 2 students in the top 10 winners of the quiz contest. Students from NHCE also bagged the vouchers through Tech Booths and Panel Discussion.
