Guest Talk on Future Ready Preparing for a world of opportunities through Higher Education
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Guest Talk on Higher Education Opportunities for 3rd Semester CSE students on 20th November 2025. The resource person was Ms. Shriya Satish, Advanced Embedded Software and Cyber Security Engineer at Honeywell, Canada. She shared valuable insights on pursuing higher education abroad, with a focus on opportunities in Canada. The talk highlighted the choices of courses and universities available for international students. She explained the scope of part-time job opportunities that support students during their studies. The importance of internships in career development was emphasized as a key factor for employability. Ms. Satish guided students on aligning academic choices with industry expectations. She also discussed the skills and traits required to succeed in global education environments. The session provided clarity on how students can prepare for international academic pathways.The talk motivated participants to explore higher education prospects beyond India.
