Industrial Visit to IOTSHOW.in at KTPO Trade Centre, Whitefield Industrial Area, Bengaluru
On 15th February 2020 students from CSE, ECE and ME departments visited one of the leading exhibitions known as IOTSHOW.in at KTPO Trade Centre, Whitefield Industrial Area, Bengaluru. There were different companies from around India exhibiting their projects to the visitors. The projects were related to IoT, Electronics and Software based which gave us some insights about the current technologies and ongoing inventions and innovations. The students were able to get to know how the real-world projects are completed in a company. The projects were quite innovative and inspiring. It provided both the students and the marketers a platform to interact, share and gain knowledge. Various speakers and advisors from top companies delivered an expert-talk on various fields which helped the students to broaden their ideas and to understand the technology from different perspectives. Some of the Speakers were Ajay Gupta (Global Head-Smart Cities & IoT, Tech Mahindra), Amrita Chowdhury (Director, Gaia), Monika Gupta (Vice President, Capgemini) and many more. We got a chance to interact with different technology experts and get motivated. This brought together multiple targeted expos, visionary keynote speeches and learning opportunities through the exhibition and the talk. It was a very well-organized event which successfully fulfilled the objective. All were benefitted in different ways, some in terms of career, some in terms of vision and some in terms of experience.
