INNOVATION TECHNIQUES ACTIVITY BASED LEARNING
Introduction
In technical education, it is highly required that the students are exposed to more hands-on-practices, and are involved in the application part of the theoretical knowledge. To overcome the problem of the limited time period in a semester, we have incorporated the technique of computational thinking, wherein the students do mini-project. The report for the same is submitted at the end of the semester. Students are also encouraged to participate in various coding contests conducted as a part of club activities.
Methodology
- The title or the technical idea of the mini-project and the selection of the topic is by the student himself/herself
- The resources which can be used are the text books, technical magazines and the internet
- The final deliverables are exhibited at the end of the semester
Expected Outcome
The student will be able to:
- Develop their coding skill with development & testing of the projects
- Understand the different IDE’s
- Analyze and optimize the solutions using appropriate tools
- Apply various I/O manipulation operations through I/O streams
- Build the application using the data storage, file sharing and IPC in various platform
- Build applications using multimedia graphics and animations
