Knowledge Transfer Session on Vertica Database

Ms. Padmapriya, Sr. AP/CSE and Ms. Jisha Mariam Jose, AP/CSE delivered a Knowledge Transfer Session on Vertica database to the faculty members of Computer Science and Engineering on 18.07.2019. The session started with a brief introduction on Big Data and how Vertica database is used in big data scenario. Later Complete feature study of Vertica was explained using smart board and ppt. The audience were very interactive, which made the session interesting and fruitful to all of them. Finally after a small break, the session was continued with hands-on experiments on Vertica database through Putty terminal.
