Report on the Expert Lecture on Numpy and Pandas in Python
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an expert lecture on Numpy and Pandas in Python for the 6th semester CSE students on the 3rd of July, 2021. The resource person was Mr. Vivekananda, Software Engineer, Wells FARGO. This expert lecture focused on Numpy and Pandas in Python. The Pandas module mainly works with the tabular data, whereas the NumPy module works with the numerical data. The Pandas provides some sets of powerful tools like DataFrame and Series that mainly used for analyzing the data, whereas in NumPy module offers a powerful object called Array. The resource person gave hands on session using Pycharm and explained the importance of Numpy and Pandas libraries. Around 95 students took part in this workshop and gained knowledge on Python.
