Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Industry Institute Interaction Cell of NHCE, IBM OpenPOWER Center of Excellence and Computer Society of India organized “OpenPOWER Academia and Research Webinar” on 26-June-2020.
First presentation was about Kubernetes and Openshift experiences in Industry by Himanshu Dhar. Second presentation was about the (container density, pod scaling) tests performed with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and compare different architectures. Effectiveness of using IBM Power Systems with OpenShift Container Platform which can host most containers or pods without performance degradation compared to other platforms His talk is purely based on the Open Source Technology. Mr.Mithun H R from IBM discussed about the use cases of OpenShift.
