CLUB ACTIVITIES

The event WORD WARS 2.0 was hosted on 20/10/2022. It was a TECH DEBATE where the participants had to showcase their speaking skills representing their knowledge on latest technologies and their capabilites to present themselves under a competetive environment. Students had to speak about various topics based on the latest advanced technologies.

The event was conducted in 3 rounds namely Turncoat, Be the CEO and Group Debate .There were totally 22 participants for the event.
In the first round, all the students spoke about various tech topics under a minute and half inclusive of both for and against the motion for 40 seconds each. From which 8 students were selected for the second round.
In the second round , each student represented a company as per the title stated ‘Be the CEO’ and battled against each other with quick counters in the rebuttal. Further leading to four students namely Jagan, Fatima, Aryan and Adhithya into the final round.
In the final group debate , it was 2 vs 2 wherein Aryan and Adhithya debated against Fatima and Jagan in the longest and crucial rebuttal of the event.

The event was finally won by the team of Aryan and Adhithya and were awarded the best debaters of the event.
The event went smooth and there was an environment of competition. The event was well organized, interactive and all the participants really enjoyed their time, learnt how to present themselves under pressure and the need to be updated with the vast world of advancing technologies out there.
