Guest Talk on Zero to One: The Startup Route
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, along with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), organized an insightful session titled “Zero to One: The Startup Route” on April 25th 2025. The event featured NHCE alumnus and entrepreneur Mr. Vaibhav Sharma, founder of MiddleWher and Cope. Studio, known for innovations in blockchain and startup ecosystems. Mr. Sharma shared his entrepreneurial journey, discussing his early motivations, challenges, and key turning points. He provided valuable insights into acquiring the first client, building a strong team, and leveraging networking for startup success. The session was both practical and inspiring, giving students a glimpse into the life of a serial entrepreneur.
Mr. Sharma spoke about his ventures, including one acquired by Polygon Technology, and his NFT collaborations with Adidas and Prada. He highlighted his experience in facilitating over $800M in fundraising, motivating students to explore entrepreneurship. Students engaged in a highly interactive Q and A session, gaining deeper insights from his expertise. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, recognizing Mr. Sharma’s contributions. Overall, the event encouraged students to pursue impactful startup ventures with innovation and determination.
